Tutoring

I am a private academic tutor with over eleven years of experience. After graduating from Barnard College in 2015 I started my journey as an after-school educator and academic tutor. Working with students in elementary school through high school, I bring a blend of warmth and rigor to the relationships I build with students. Through my work with diverse range of private clients and my training with premier NYC tutoring agencies, I have honed a wide set of skills that help me nurture each student relationship. I love to see my students flourish into their best academic selves by fostering academic self-esteem and a love of learning. Collaboratively, we build a lifelong toolbox of concrete skills and strategies.

Being an educator and tutor supports my life as a working artist, and my artistic life brings a host of skills and talents to my teaching and tutoring life, including but not limited to: critical thinking, cultivating curiosity and excitement around an intellectual life, and fostering an integrated mind-body educational experience.
